❚ QEC EtherCAT Demo - Electrical Discharge Machining
This video demonstrates how to integrate QEC EtherCAT Master and Slaves to become an Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) device.
By using QEC-M (EtherCAT Master) in conjunction with open-source software, a visually appealing user interface is designed, which connects to QEC EtherCAT Slave devices, enabling control of 3-axis motors, digital Input/Output, handwheel communication, and more. This perfect replication of an EDM device's operations showcases the advantages of synchronization, real-time control, and an intuitive UI in the meantime.
