Welcome back, Educators.
What is the difference between the in-cell and over-cell?
Can we add more than one image inside the cell?
How to assign a macro to a graphic?
We’ll create a button using Drawing, then assign a macro to it.
Open Drawing.
Design the button as you like.
Download the graphic as a PNG file.
Click Save and close to add the graphic to the sheet.
Open Script editor.
Copy the name of the macro that we’ve created in the previous lesson.
Click the 3 dots, then click Assign a script.
Paste the function name, then click Ok.
Select the cell, then click the graphic.
Here is it, and now, no need to run the macro from the Tools menu.
We’ll add the image that we’ve download inside the cell.
Select the cell, then click Image in cell.
Select the image.
And here is it.
We resize the in-cell image by changing the column width and wow height.
While the image over cell by dragging the corners.
Right-click, then click Put image over cells.
Assign a macro to the image.
Then test it.
It works correctly.
Right-click, then click the 3 dots, then Put image in selected cell.
But now, the image doesn’t act as a button to run the macro.
We can’t assign a macro to the in-cell image. That is possible just to the over-cell image.
We can’t insert more than one image inside the same cell.
But we can change the borders to make it looks like that.
That’s it, have fun. Thanks for watching.
