From saving the Avengers to fighting for diversity and equality, Brie Larson is a superhero both on and off-screen. The Academy Award-winning actress has used the celebrity status earned from films like Room, 21 Jump Street, Short Term 12, and Kong: Skull Island to shine a spotlight on the #MeToo and Time’s Up movements. It only makes sense that she will be playing the titular character in Captain Marvel, the first female-led film in the MCU.
