Golang 1.22: What is new?
What is new in Golang 1.22? Compared to the 1.21 release, the Go team added a new fix for a common "for" gotcha, new routing patterns, new standard library changes and more!.
There are a lot of features, but there are six I want to call out:
■ Fix "for" the for gotcha when using goroutines
■ Support to iterate over integers when using "for"
■ First ever v2 in the standard library: "math/rand/v2"
■ Routing patterns support in "net/http.ServeMux"
■ Filesystem (FS) support in "net/http"
■ New "slices" Concat function
