ArchivesSpace is pleased to announce that the ArchivesSpace Governance Board recently approved the continuation of the ArchivesSpace Diversity Partnership program, and we will be accepting applications for a new cohort intended to begin on July 1, 2024.
Begun in 2021 as a three-year pilot program, the ArchivesSpace Diversity Partnership offers support for implementing the ArchivesSpace application to institutions that are themselves or primarily serve communities underrepresented in the ArchivesSpace community. Participating organizations receive, at no cost to them, ArchivesSpace membership, hosting with a Registered Service Provider, training, and user and technical support for the duration of a three-year term. New in 2024, cohort members will also have the option to receive hours with an independent consultant to use toward migration, workflow design, or other work in their archives that will help them implement ArchivesSpace.
