Deleting a voice message on WhatsApp allows you to remove an audio recording that you’ve sent or received within a chat.
This feature can be used in both individual and group conversations. Once deleted, the voice message can be removed either from just your chat (delete for me) or from both your chat and the recipient's chat (delete for everyone).
If you accidentally sent a message with an error or something you didn’t mean to share, deleting it can prevent confusion or embarrassment.
Deleting sensitive or personal information can help protect your privacy, especially if the message was sent to the wrong person or group.
🔶STEPS🔶
To delete a voice message on WhatsApp,
1. Open the WhatsApp application on your mobile device.
2. Navigate to the chat where the voice message you want to delete is located.
3. You can remove audio messages from individual or group chat conversations.
4. Scroll through the chat conversation and find the voice message you want to delete.
5. Long-press on the voice message.
6. Tap on the delete icon at the top of the screen.
7. Choose "Delete for Everyone" to remove the voice message from both sides.
8. Choose "Delete for Me" to remove the audio message only from your chat conversation.
Remember, the "Delete for Everyone" option is not available for older messages.
Once you select, the voice message is permanently deleted from both sides or only from your chat conversation.
