A short guide I wanted to make for myself and to be shared with others. As there is no BIOS update feature inside the BIOS on old Phoenix Award BIOS based motherboards like for example Foxconn and EVGA X58 motherboards, you have to update the bios in the operating system, or in DOS environment with a bootable USB or Floppy device.
Easiest way to do it, atleast with this Foxconn Bloodrage X58 motherboard is to prepare an empty FAT32 usb stick with Rufus to make it MS-DOS bootable, and then just move the BIOS file itself + AWDFlash.exe and the .bat file that controls the flashing program. Once all of those files are in the root of the prepared USB stick, you only have to boot that removable device and let the BIOS flashing procedure to finish. If the flashing procedure doesn't start as in my example, you may want to try other commands in the .bat file.
You can use this video as an example guide to flash the BIOS of old motherboards that have a Phoenix Award BIOS, like for example the Foxconn Bloodrage or Bloodrage GTI, Foxconn Blackops X48, EVGA X58 SLI Classified, EVGA X58 Classified 3 or the 4-way and so on.
AWDFlash + the bat file, aswell as P10 & P11 BIOS files for the Bloodrage motherboard: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5blp35i5yrb...
If you use different motherboard model just remove the P10 and P11 BIOS files and replace them with the correct BIOS file you wish to flash. Then just check the bat file and make sure the file name in the bat file matches the actual BIOS file.
