The Secret World of Autism
‘Everyone needs to experience a party like this one.’ That’s what someone said today about my son Cooper’s 13th birthday party. He had 20 kids come today. Many had never been invited to a birthday party before. I know because I cried the same joyful tears when my son was invited to his first birthday party.
Nearly every person in attendance today was brought into our lives because of our son’s autism diagnosis. And when I think back to the early days, I wish I would have seen this video.
Joy. Laughter. Hugs. Fun. Silliness. Singing. Dancing.
This was one of my most favorite days ever. Thank you everyone for being here with us on this journey. I call it the secret the world of autism. Here is your glimpse. ❤️❤️
