On the idyllic coast of Jejudo Island, a young girl lives with her grandmother, Gye-choon, played by Youn Yuh-jung, until the day the girl disappears from the marketplace. A decade later, she reappears in her grandmother's life, by now a street-hardened teenager. Can they reconnect, or are the scars too deep?
