Live Bites:
Live bites are hard to film with your GoPro (Hero 7) when fishing because you never know when a fish is going to take your lure. I have a few tips for you how you can get those live bites on camera without running out of battery, so you can still film other cinematic shots with your GoPro (Hero 7).
Once you know how to film that, I show you different camera angles. If you are able to switch in the same action from one GoPro to another, it just makes your cinematic fishing video look more professional.
Under/Over water footage:
I show you exactly, which settings you should use and why for under water fishing footage and as well for over water footage. The settings I am going to present you, make your fishing video look more cinematic, but it still can get much better, if you follow the following GoPro (Hero 7) tips:
Dome:
A dome for your GoPro (Hero 7) is necessary, if you want to make next level cinematic videos under water. The takes you can get with this GoPro accessory are just incredible, especially if a fish jumps in your GoPro. That's the one I am using: https://amzn.to/3163nKi and I can really recommend it.
B-Roll:
B-Roll is really important if you would like to make cinematic GoPro fishing videos. I show you a few examples what B-Roll for a fishing day could look like. You can use those tips as well for your GoPro (Hero 7) travel and I really recommend to do that. You cinematic GoPro videos will just look much more professional, if you film B-Roll additionally to your main GoPro (Hero 7) footage.
