This young Malinois female has been trained to come when called when she hears her name. After being properly prepared, she understands the command and the behavior attached to it- she has been reinforced with the remote collar to be reliable. This process requires 1) understanding the command in a positive way and reward 2) being trained with the leash and remote collar together 3) being reinforced with the remote collar alone if the response does not start within 3 seconds at the latest. All dogs are trained to sit in close proximity after being called and have to wait for the release command before breaking up the behavior. She is randomly rewarded for the correct behavior.
