Car Misdiagnosed by Mechanic! Wasted Spark Ignition System!
Wasted spark ignition system on a Mazda B2300, two coils, 8 spark plugs, only 4 cylinders. This truck came in after being parked for years. A quick parts cannon diag revealed faulty ignition coils AND a bad PCM/ECM. This is a follow up video to address a few comments regarding theory and operation of the wasted spark ignition system, and to prove that the original diagnosis was accurate.
