How To Design a Steel Beam For Beginners: Hand Calculation & Software
In this video I give an introduction to steel beam design. I go over some of the basics you'll need to know before you get started, I walk you through the load calculation and load combination process, then I go through the deflection and strength checks, and finally, at the end of the video I show you how you can do the exact same design using a popular design software called Spacegass.
