2.4Ghz Band vs 5Ghz band Wifi
Top speed downloading BF4 on 2.4Ghz band was about 1.2MB (you'll only see about 900Kbps in the video) but when I switched to the 5Ghz band...
Just to lay out a general picture:
I'm about 20-30 feet away from the signal location and my wifi adapter is mounted on the wall, 3/4th the way up the nearest wall.
There are approximately 2.5 walls between the router and the wifi adapter.
The router is you typical Xfinity dual band router (Model: DPC3939) and the wifi adapter is Rosewill AC1200 dual band USB 3.0 wifi adapter. The adapter is also plugged into the USB 3.0 port on the PC, but is running in USB 2.0 mode for some reason :/
Motherboard: Asrock FM2A85X-ITX
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64
The internet I pay for is "Xfinity Performance" which is about 25MB down and about 15MB up.
