Create Member Website with Different Types of Members - Build Profile Page
Last year the Code Queen created a tutorial to show you how to make your own custom login steps for your website Members by following a Wix Tutorial Article. Now she will show you one method you can use on creating a client dashboard in Wix using Wix Code.
In this video the Code Queen will use Member Pages setting to create the private member dashboard. She will show you how to add a code that checks to see if the Member already has a profile or not in order to lead them to fill out a new profile form. The Code Queen got creative with the profile form and added a 'referral code' generator by using the Wix user ID and then auto inserts the user information into the database without using a Dataset on the page! You will also see a Backend code that you have the option to add on to your member setup in order to check for a single unique field to make sure no duplicates exist in the Database collection before the profile is saved or updated!
