Edges orchestrate how your eye moves on your painting. Control the edges and you control how the viewer's eye moves. I'll show you three masters, Caravaggio, Vermeer, and Sargent, and how they play with lost edges to create mystery. In my painting I'll show you the same idea. It creates mystery, and engagement for the viewer.
