NVIDIA Sweeps KDDCup 2023 Recommender Algorithm Challenge
Today, we're delving into the world of e-commerce data science, focusing on the monumental achievement of the NVIDIA-Merlin team at the Amazon KDD Cup 2023. The challenge? To model customer shopping intentions with a highly complex "Multilingual Shopping Session Dataset," consisting of millions of user sessions from six different locales with a focus on six languages 🌐 The dataset posed a unique challenge, with an imbalance in the distribution of product languages and encouraged the use of transfer learning techniques.
