MSI Z790 Carbon Max WiFi II Review: The Ultimate Gaming Motherboard?
For quite some time now, I’ve been using MSI’s Z790 Carbon WIFI motherboard in my test bench which I’ve used to conduct various benchmarks, test out various hardware and configurations. Now MSI has followed up with the Z790 Carbon MAX WIFI II motherboard which brings with it some nice quality of life upgrades, features and specifications. One of the things I’m very much looking forward to testing out is the board’s overclocking capabilities when it comes to DDR5 Memory. 4 dimm boards are especially quite difficult to work with when it comes to high frequencies so let’s see if this board can outshine the competition. MSI has validated some kits on their qvl rated for speed of up to 7800MT/s, so let’s put that to the test! Along with that we cover some additional accessories included, go through the rest of the UEFI, and showcase other features.
