TLDR; Through web development. Learn basic skills, get entry job, make cool stuff and learn as much as possible,
work you way up
1. Learn HTML CSS + Basic Javascript. Books, courses
2. Entry Level Job in the tech world. Tech Support / Customer support at a tech company. NOT internship.
Those are usually reserved for college kids
3. Learn as much of the current companies tech stack as you can. Try to provide the most value for your team. Make
internal tools or even personal productivity tools. Just try to make sure your manager / team knows that you are
into coding and are interesting in moving up.
4. Seek promotion opportunities that involve more coding.
5. If no opportunities are present or will be present within the next year, move up the ladder to another company.
Some tips: Find mentors who will help you grow and who you can reach out to for help.
Learn how to learn fast. You will need to adapt and figure out problems as fast as you can.
