Johnny Greenwood's movie music
If anything, Jonny Greenwood is the guy from Radiohead. I'm proud of many of the points in this lecture, but it's an order of magnitude more complex than the others. I've never analyzed such complex music on the channel before. It's not major, but a whole-tone scale; not syncopation, but polyrhythm; not an expression of emotion, but a complex metaphor of tightness, symmetry, glassiness and balance. And the audience was very philosophically inclined; you'll hear challenging questions and rather professional observations at the end.
