Create images that look like two things at the same time. They look like one thing close up and another when you squint at them.
Lately, there have been some fascinating images online featuring optical illusions. Some of them even contain hidden or subliminal messages. These images are generated using an AI optical illusion generator, specifically the AI called Stable Diffusion. Stable Diffusion, through the ControlNet feature, is the only AI that can create these images, so it can’t be done in Midjourney or any other AI art services out there.
The process of creating these images involves a few steps that I will walk you through.
First, you need to provide a prompt to Stable Diffusion. This prompt can be anything from a few words to a detailed description of what you want the image to look like. Once you have provided the prompt, Stable Diffusion will generate an image based on the details you provided. The results are often quite detailed and can look like a realistic scenery when viewed up close.
However, when viewed from a distance or when squinting at the image, you will see a geometrical pattern such as a spiral or checkerboard pattern. This is what makes these images so fascinating and unique.
