GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK:
Grand Teton National Park, located in northwestern Wyoming, is renowned for its stunning landscapes, including the majestic Teton Range and the serene valley of Jackson Hole. Established in 1929 and later expanded in 1950, the park covers over 310,000 acres and offers a diverse array of natural beauty, wildlife, and recreational activities.
Geography and Geology
The park's most striking feature is the Teton Range, with its highest peak, Grand Teton, soaring to 13,775 feet. The range's dramatic rise from the valley floor, without foothills, creates a breathtaking backdrop.
