In today's tutorial, we will teach you how to setup outlook 2016 email account POP IMAP configuration.
Open the Outlook app. Click on the 'File' in the top left corner and choose 'Add account'. Check 'Manual setup or additional server types'. Click 'Next'. Check 'POP or IMAP' and click 'Next'. Enter your name and an email address. Set account type to IMAP. Change 'incoming mail server' to imap.gmail and 'outgoing mail server' to 'smtp.gmail'.
Enter your password. Click on 'More Settings'. Go to 'Outgoing Server' tab. Check 'My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication'. Go to 'Advanced' tab. Set 'Incoming server IMAP to 993'. Set 'Use the following type of encrypted connection to SSL'. Set the Outgoing Server SMTP to 465 and 'Use the following type of encrypted connection to SSL. Click 'Ok'. Click 'Next'. Wait until is done. Click 'Close' and click on 'Finish'.
