Karachi Burns Road [Food Street Closed] for traffic from 10/01/2021 - Join Irfan Ahmed
Deputy commissioner and administrator DMC (South) has announced the launch of new food street in Karachi. From 10th January 2021 Karachi's iconic Burns Road food street is designated for pedestrians to move around and enjoy yummy grub.
Vehicles coming from Araam Bagh to Fresco will be diverted towards M.A Jinnah road and People's Square instead.
The new food street will start from Fresco Chowk and go all the way to Fatima Jinnah Women's College.
Residents will be provided stickers as proof of vehicle parking, the district administration announced.
Furthermore, anyone willing to visit the food street will be given the facility of valet parking.
In case of emergencies, an exit is also planned for escape.
All arrangements will be made for after 7pm, with the aim of providing a clean and hygienic environment and exemplary services as priority for all citizens.
