Quand David Bowie rencontre le street art et la scie musicale...
Ce clip propose une illustration de la chanson "Life on Mars?" de David Bowie sous forme de graffitis où les paroles de la chanson appariassent de manière subliminale. Le thème de la chanson originale reposant d'une part sur constat désabusé d'un monde décevant et d'autre part sur l'idée d'une ascension vers un ailleurs, j'ai décidé de confronter les limites dressées par un paysage urbain et l'infini cosmique gagné par la rêverie au fil des errances le long des murs délabrés. Le mur présenté comme limite infranchissable, devient espace d'expression et point d'origine du départ vers l'ailleurs. où l'ascension se veut progressive.
"Life on Mars, c'est une vision cosmique à un arrêt de bus" entendis-je un soir, d une oreille distraite. Ces mots (qui étaient en réalité, ceux de John Harris, un écrivain journaliste, m ont inspiré l'écriture de ce clip.
