the bisection method starts the iterative cycle by picking two trial points which enclose the root. Two points x0 & x1 enclosing the root if fx0 and fx1 are the opposite signs. Now we bisect the interval x0,x1 and denote the midpoint x2 such that
x2=x0+x1/2
then there will be three cases.
case 1: if fx2=0 then we have the root
case 2: If fx2 greater then 0 then the root lies between x0 and x2 thus we have to replace x1 by x2 and search for the root in this new interval
case 3: if fx2 less then 0 then the root lies between x2 and x1 thus we have to replace x0 by x2 and search for the root in this new interval
