KRITA how to change color picker to ALT key
By default krita uses CONTROL to pull up the color picker-
most apps use ALT.
It is confusing on how to change it to alt if you are just learning the app, so here's how you do it!
I did make a mistake in the video when I said you can't change it in keyboard shortcuts- YOU CAN--- but--- it isn't the same as how I did it here using TOOL INVOCTION
invoction means (it- the color picker- is only up when I hold the key down- release alt and it auto returns to whatever tool i was using before)
If you change it with hotkeys it will keep the tool in use even once you release the key. (keep in mind if you have it set to same key for BOTH shortcuts AND invoctions it will use invoction first- so if you want it to be a toggle- first delete or change the invoction combo so it isn't using the same key to same function.)
This applies to various tools- pretty handy I might add! The app is confusing but it does give more control and power this way. I still think it could be less confusing while giving more power but there ya go...
Now if only there was a way to add TRANSFORM tool to invoction list...
Learning new apps is always a dangerous adventure. What will I rant about next? Honestly I feel like I'm about ready to rock, but I keep getting distracted with new problems so we'll see. =D
