OVERVIEW:Set in 1862 London, James (Eddie Redmayne) is a very ambitious young scientist working on weather forecasting technology, however, financial constraints prevent him from using his hot air balloon to take his research into the sky, so he seeks out a woman named Amelia (Felicity Jones Jones).
Amelia is a very experienced balloon pilot who is now drowning in a painful past. She agrees to James' request and the two of them embark on their adventure together in a hot air balloon, reaching heights no man has ever traveled before with their wits and courage. But the higher they go, the greater the danger they face!
