How To Fix External USB Mouse Doesn't Work on Laptop [Solution]

Possible Reasons for Mouse not Working on Laptop, Computer frozen, No Num Lock Key, Mouse Conflict, Not Connected properly, USB Mouse, Wireless Mouse, Mouse Conflict/ Driver Conflict, Outdated or Missing Drivers, and Hardware issues.
Update Drivers:
1. Type Device Manager in the search area of the taskbar and click Open.
2. Expand the Mice and other pointing devices.
3. Next, right-click on your mouse driver.
4. Choose Update driver from the context menu and then click on Search automatically for drivers.
5. Restart your computer and check if the issue is resolved.
Disable Power Management for USB Devices:
1. Press the Windows + R keys together to open Run.
2. Type control in Run and click Enter.
3. In the following window, expand the View by category and choose Large icons.
4. Click on Power Options from the list.
5. Click on Change plan settings next to the selected power plan.
6. Select Change advanced power settings.
7. Now, locate the USB settings section and expand it.
8. Expand the USB selective suspend setting and choose Disable.
9. Click Apply OK to save the changes.
