The bell pepper seedlings now have their true leaves and are ready for thinning; by removing some of the plants that are growing too close together so that only one plant is left to grow. It’s still too early to transplant the peppers in my outdoor garden. In order to keep the plants from getting too big for the egg shells, the seedlings will be potted up in a larger container. Potting up seedlings as they grow affords them the best chance to grow stronger and bigger.
