Corvette Canyon Run in the C8 Z06! Hand-Built V8 Revs to 8,600 RPM
The C8 Corvette Z06 makes 670 HP at an eye-watering 8,400 RPM from its hand-built 5.5L flat-plane crank V8. It sounds absolutely fantastic doing so, and that V8 is paired to a wonderful chassis and some gigantic (345 mm on a 13" wheel) rear tires. We attended the #corvettez06 launch at Pitt Race a few years ago, but Chevy tossed us the keys to another #c8corvettez06 when we landed in Los Angeles for our trackcross at Willow Springs. Before leaving town, we hit Angeles Crest to see how the Z06 handled some canyon runs.
