There's been a bit of a gap since my previous video, of which I blame on Zelda, a game jam (my game's at https://notthefuture.com/rock/ ) which was followed by a whole week of playing other people's games, then I got carried away making a music mix ("bliph" at https://notthefuture.com/mixes/ ), then Pikmin 4 came out, also I have like a fulltime in-person job now.
Then also I kept getting stuck in this game since it ended up being longer and more difficult than I was expecting. Probably the most playtime of any Mysty so far, other than maybe the 7th Guest (in that case though half of the playtime was entirely for the microscope puzzle and coding a solution). I ended up having to go through 12 hours of footage (luckily most of the time I was really stuck I had off-recording), and usually I shut up for long periods during that, but here I kept yapping so it was harder to cut stuff.
Despite that, there's no longcut -- this video's already my longest non-unlisted Mysty anyway, and I really don't think the other cut stuff is that great -- compare that to Dark Fall where I hack the game and then go play a different one; or Atlantis with its campy story and painful hallway.
