Use the Rodecaster Pro as a Video Switcher (Beta Firmware 2.1.2)
Beta Firmware 2.1.2 allows the Rodecaster Pro to act as a USB MIDI controller. This is GREAT news for anyone who streams or has wanted to level up how the Rodecaster fits into their workflow!
Rode published directions on how to use the Rodecaster as a MIDI video switcher on OBS with Windows, but what about Mac users with Ecamm? Here's a quick and simple solution to use the Rodecaster Pro as a video switcher with Ecamm Live!

And of course, this is beta firmware, so there are likely to be some bugs, and this method of video switching on Mac did not come from Rode– it's just something I pieced together as best I could.
