This tutorial is going to teach you how to create proxies in Premiere Pro which will allow you to edit with smaller files that are easier to work with. Proxies are ideal for sending over the internet to an editor or for taking with you to edit from a laptop that can’t handle your original cameral footage. Proxies are great to edit with on a slow computer.
I will also explain some of the problems that can arise if you don’t create the proxies the correct way. If this Quick Tutorial is moving too fast, I have an Extended version uploading next week.
