PDO Thread Lift and Chin Augmentation: Combination Therapies by Dr. Kian Karimi
A customized treatment plan is developed for each of our patients during consultation. This often consists of combining multiple individual procedures for a synergistic approach we call ‘Combination Therapies.’ My signature combination therapy for lifting and balancing the lower third of the face is a dual treatment of PDO threads and hyaluronic acid filler. As seen here, collagen stimulating Novathreads are placed along two vectors to lift the mid-face and a third along the jawline, lifting the mid-face and reducing the appearance of jowls. HA filler is then meticulously placed in multiple planes using my microcannula injection technique for subtle projection of the chin and sculpting a seamlessly defined jawline, ultimately balancing the lower face. Restylane Defyne is one of my favorite fillers for the lower face, allowing a fully customized treatment for each patient.
