The Dream Is Alive Gate Weave and Color fixes
This has always been one of my favorite IMAX movies, I have fond memories of seeing this at Kennedy Space Center as a kid. I've owned the DVD over the years and had always been disappointed with the shakey quality and the dullness of the color as well as the wandering color temperature from frame to frame. I always attributed this to a bad a IMAX film scan transfer to digital (it was probably transferred right around the year 2000 with the technology that they had then).
I finally bought the Bluray last year hoping they had fixed it, but sadly it was the still the same film scan. So, over the Christmas break I decided to give it a go and see what I could do with it. It's not perfect, but it's better!
