DO NOT do THIS at a Coding Bootcamp // Copy and Paste Developer
In today's video I talk about why you SHOULD NOT copy and paste as a Software Developer.
The copy and paste method in the long run does not help you as a Software Developer. Especially in a coding bootcamp, as a new developer the copy and paste method will be more detrimental because it won't challenge your critical thinking skills.
If you find yourself constantly looking at someone else's code to solve your labs/modules, consider some alternatives such as
1. Forming a study group
2. Asking for 1:1 tutoring with TA's
3. Paid mentor/tutoring
As a last resort, if you do look at someone else's code, consider typing it out and reasoning why you're writing the code that you're writing.
