To add multiple headers in a Word document, follow these steps:
Open your Word document.
1. Navigate to the page where you want to begin a new header.
2. Double-click on the top margin of the page to enter the header area.
3. The "Header & Footer Tools" tab should appear on the ribbon. If not, click on the "Design" tab to make it visible.
4. In the "Header & Footer" section, click on the "Link to Previous" button to unlink the current section from the previous one. This ensures that you can have a separate header for this section.
5. You can now modify the header area as needed. Add text, insert images, or format the header according to your requirements.
6. If you want to add a different header to subsequent sections, go to the next page where you want the new header to start.
7. Repeat steps 3 to 6 to create a distinct header for this section. Continue this process for each section where you want to have a different header.
By following these steps, you can add multiple headers to different sections of your Word document. Each section can have its own unique header content and formatting.
