Create a QWERTY Keyboard Synth with AudioKeys and ToneJS - Pt.4
In this video, you'll learn how to use the AudioKeys library with ToneJS to create a synthesizer that can be played using your computer's QWERTY keyboard. Building on our previous video where we used the triggerAttackRelease function in ToneJS to trigger the synth programmatically, The Code Creative will now show you how to use the AudioKeys library to allow for keyboard input. We'll demonstrate how to install and set up the library in your project. We'll also discuss how to create a basic synth using ToneJS. Next, we'll show you how to use the AudioKeys library to map keyboard keys to specific synth notes, and trigger the notes using the library's built-in functions. By the end of this video, you'll be able to create your own QWERTY keyboard synth using AudioKeys and ToneJS, opening up new possibilities for music production. Created by Gregg Fine.
