How to install R720XD rear flexbay kit | PowerEdge Tips
In this video, I introduce the R720XD rear flex bay option and show you how to install it. There are 2 variants of the R720XD, one with 12x 3.5" drive bay backplane, and another with 24x 2.5" drive bay backplane. The rear flex bay kit is available for both variants of the R720XD, but some of the cables in the kit have slightly different P/N. I'll list the detail P/N below in this description so if you need that information, just scroll down. After showing you the parts in the rear flex bay kit, I'll show you step by step how to install the kit in your R720XD. If you want to skip ahead to those steps, go to 6:38.
