How to fix HITACHI projector mirror door motor.
I didn´t want to spend a lot of money for a spare part.
It is not necessary to buy the entire mirror motor.
Unfortunately a common problem as the one plastic gear in the mirror motor break easily.
I made my own brand new gear.
The replacement is very simple. Unscrew the three screws and replace the gear with a new one.
It is important to place the gear in the correct position relative to the metal rail for later mirror motor mounting back to projector.
If the position is not correct, you can use the 12 Volts power adapter to move the gear in the correct position.

Projector is working now perfectly again.
