PALABOK RECIPE | How To Cook Best Ever Palabok Sauce | Pinoy Palabok | Palabok Sauce
Ingredients:
250g Relish premium vermicelli
3 cloves garlic
2 red onions
350g ground pork
Patis and pepper to taste
1 cup water (for crushing shrimp heads)
2 cups annato water
1pc shrimp cube
3/4 cup flour + 1 cup water
9pcs shrimp
3/4 cup tinapa flakes
Hard boiled eggs
Onion chives
Crushed chicharon
Procedure:
1. Cook vermicelli in boiling water until tender. Drain and set aside
2. Crush shrimp heads with a little water. Add more water to extract flavor. Train and set aside
3. Boil shrimps with a little water and salt. Cool and peel shell
4. Saute garlic and onion. Add ground pork, patis and pepper to taste. Add tinapa flakes 5. Add shrimp head water. Bring to a boil
6. Once boiling, add annatto water then shrimp cube
7. Lastly add flour dissolved in water. Stir until slightly thickened
8. Pour prepared sauce into some cooked vermicelli noodles. Top with more tinapa flakes, crushed chicharon and chopped onion chives. Add cooked shrimps.
9. Serve with hard boiled egg and calamansi
