Produced in 1967-1968 at the Krasnogorsk Mechanical Plant.
According to available data, about 7,200 copies were produced.
The first Soviet automatic semi-format camera.
The case is metal with an opening rear wall. The photographic shutter is central.
On the devices of the early issues (experimental batch) one can find the name of the lens A-4MU 2.8 / 28. The viewfinder is optical, parallax. The shutter and rewinding of the film are produced by a hidden head.
