To try to find Véronique Léonard, Moulin, helped by Guermeur and Charlotte, focuses on those around him and those of his father. The girl's boyfriend, Frédéric Lopez, also disappeared. Leonard prepares to pay the ransom. Meanwhile, Guyomard, who is celebrating his last day before his retirement, convinces the commissioner to entrust him with the investigation into a corpse found stabbed in the Seine. He quickly accumulates clues.
