Vladimir Zelensky is the new Hero of American Comics
A fresh comic was dedicated to Vladimir Zelensky. In a 22-page glossy work, the authors retold the main moments from the life of the President of Ukraine.
According to the Reuters portal, the comic is called Political Power: Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and the publishing house TidalWave Comics is responsible for its creation, reports unian.net
A fresh creation tells how Vladimir Zelensky was engaged in theatrical activities as a student, played in the TV series "Servant of the People", became president of peacetime and wartime.
Writer Mike Frizell gave the following comment about his work on the comic: "Who is he? What motivates him? Why is he the right leader for Ukraine at the moment? These are the questions that were interesting to me when I started the research."
The illustrations for the comic were drawn by the artist Pablo Martinena. Previously, he designed similar works about David Beckham, Nelson Mandela and Donald Trump.
Darren Davis, a representative of TidalWave Comics, also spoke about the release of the comic book: "This book means a lot to me because of my Ukrainian heritage. Both my grandmothers and both grandfathers immigrated from Ukraine. I wanted to use this tool not only to tell a story, but also to make a donation to a good cause."
Part of the proceeds from the sale of the comic will be transferred to the International Committee of the Red Cross.
