Breakfast Bomb Recipe
Ingredients:
• 1 can of refrigerated biscuit dough (like Pillsbury Grands or similar)
• 3-6 eggs, scrambled and slightly cooled
• 1 cup cooked breakfast sausage, crumbled
• 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend)
• 1/4 cup chopped green onions
• 1/4 cup chopped bell pepper (optional for extra flavor)
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 2 tablespoons melted butter
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon dried parsley
Instructions:
1. Preheat Oven:
• Preheat your oven to 350°F
2. Prepare the Filling:
• In a bowl, mix together the scrambled eggs, cooked sausage, shredded cheese, green onions, and optional bell pepper. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Assemble the Bombs:
• Take each biscuit dough piece and flatten it slightly in your hand.
• Spoon about 1–2 tablespoons of the filling onto the center of the dough.
• Carefully pinch and fold the edges of the dough over the filling, sealing it tightly to create a ball.
• Place each filled dough ball seam-side down on the baking sheet.
4. Add Garlic Butter Topping:
• Mix the melted butter with garlic powder and parsley.
• Brush each breakfast bomb with the garlic butter mixture.
5. Bake:
• Bake for 15–18 minutes or until the bombs are golden brown and puffed up.
6. Serve:
• Let cool slightly before serving.
