This video is the second in a 3-part series where I speak with Dr. Jean Amoura with Nebraska Medicine about what trans men should know about pelvic exams and Pap smears (I use the language "Annual Exam" in this video because many people still may think this is accurate even though recommendations are no longer annual). In this video we talk about how to make an appointment and what actually takes place during the exam. Dr. Amoura shows the exam tools and swabs and also speaks to STI screening and birth control. In the third video of the series we talk about lab results and common health issues trans men may experience/how to treat them.
