💜 Featuring Cho Youjeen, the vocalist of the rock band Cherry Filter, the title track “Wild Flower” highlights the rock sounds and powerful energy created by RM’s calming rap and Cho Youjeen’s energetic vocals. The song explores the emotions that came with fame and success that RM has been dealing with in the last decade. Wild Flower expresses the meaning of RM’s desire to live as a calm “wild flower” rather than a flashy and quickly disappearing “firework.”
In the track, RM also talks about his journey, his dreams, what he wanted and what he has achieved. Considering RM has been in the limelight for a decade, it’s no wonder he wants to slow things down. As an artist, RM has always managed to give us a glimpse of what he is thinking via his poetic verses and Wild Flower is one such example of it.
💜 This video is from a small yet intimate concert at Rolling Hall on December 5, 2022. RM returned to his roots, in the heart of Hongdae, where the rapper made a name for himself in the underground hip-hop scene when he was a teenager. It was his long-time dream to perform at Rolling Hall and 200 lucky fans were able to attend the concert.
