Welcome to Vigens Chernarus. The year is 1999 and the people of Chernarus are living happy lives, unaware of the bad stuff coming their way. @sauwercraud has spent two years remaking DayZ as if there was never a zombie apocalypse. You start fresh and have to get a job to buy clothes, food, a house to live in, vehicles and much more! There are NPC civilians, animals, you can make friends and go sightseeing. But it's not all happy days, you can commit crimes, get into fights and rob banks, but beware! There are police around that will arrest you!
