Creating API message extensions with Teams Toolkit
In this small tutorial, we will see, using the latest version of the Teams Toolkit extension, how to create a Message Extension using your existing API! With a simple Open API descriptor, you will be able to scaffold a complete Message Extension project, design the Adaptive Card inside VS Code and then deploy it. We will briefly see how it works also in the Teams Developer Portal. At last, you'll see how you'll be able very soon to also provide your API Auth key for secure calls to your API from the Message Extension.
API-based Message Extensions won't be supported as plugins for Copilot at this time. Stay tuned at Build for more news on how to bring your APIs to Copilot!
